Annual Dinner

This could be considered as the highlight of the Association’s year, held in January in the School Hall.

The 2022 Annual Dinner which was scheduled for Saturday 15th January has now been recheduled for Saturday 21st May. Revised invitations are now being sent.

We are delighted to announce that our Guest Speaker this coming year will be the Watford Football Club legend Luther Blissett. Luther played 584 first class matches, 415 of those for Watford, scoring an amazing 148 goals for the Hornets. Now retired from playing football, Luther is a regular matchday host in the Sir Elton John Suite at the Club. He has been a television pundit for Channel 4, founded his own British Touring Cars racing team alongside John Barnes and Les Ferdinand, has recently been awarded the Freedom of The Borough of Watford and is also a serving Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire.  Seeing Luther in action in his matchday hosting role, shows that he is a very engaging, charismatic and highly entertaining speaker, so we expect this year’s Dinner to be a full house – we therefore strongly recommend that you book your tickets quickly! And if you had the opportunity to ask Luther a question yourself, please let us know what it would be when you submit your application.
If you are an Old Fullerian but not a member of the OFA, you are still eligible to attend the Annual Dinner so if you wish to attend, please email secretary@oldfullerians.org.uk.
